Exercise has a wide variety of benefits for the body; but exercises need to be done properly, in the right manner, at the right time. Stretching some injuries can actually make them worse, and exercising muscles that are inhibited sets you up for failure and reinforces patterns that can set you up for failure and re-injury. Therapeutic exercises will help establish proper patterns to make you stronger and better than ever.
In conjunction with adjusting fixated or inhibited joints to normalize nerve signals, your doctor of chiropractic may prescribe therapeutic exercises to help with strength, balance, flexibility, and control. Some of these activities we’ll do in-office; others, you may do at home.
