Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, Betty Jean is a highly valued "behind the scenes" member of Performance Chiropractic. She writes:
"After graduating from Smithdeal-Massey Business, I worked for the National Science Foundation, and The Agency for International Development in Washington, DC. Upon getting married, I moved to Williamsburg, VA,where I worked for the U.S. Army Transportation School, and the Judge Advocate General, at Fort Eustis, VA.
I went back to school, and received a degree in Child Psychology from William and Mary. After graduating, I went to work for Anheuser-Busch, Inc., where I worked for 25 years.
I have two daughters: Alisa and Jennifer, and five grandchildren: Jesse, Ashley, Samantha, Anthonie, and Elliott. My family and church are very important to me.
Volunteer: Salvation Army and James River Baptist
Hobbies: enjoy golf, reading, walking, and building a bird sanctuary in my yard.
I also love to shop for antiques and have a booth at the Williamsburg Antique Mall."
